MARK MEEKER

Executive Director

Our Executive Director, joined the Deerassic Park Staff in 2006 after graduating from Ohio University. In his spare time you can find him on his boat fishing, in the woods hunting or watching sports with family and friends.

DANA LAUNDER

Chief Operations Officer

After graduating from the University of Mount Union in 2001, Dana spent 17 years in public accounting before joining the Deerassic staff in September of 2018. In his spare time he enjoys fishing, spending time outdoors, and attending sporting events with his wife and three children.

TONJA WELLS

Office Manager / Ticket Sales

Tonja has been with Deerassic Park since the very first Deerassic Classic in 2003. She became the full-time Ticket Rep for the 2009 Classic. Tonja enjoys yard sales, fishing, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

VALOTTA BILLMAN

Finance Manager

Valotta joined us in October 2017 as the Finance Manager. She enjoys spending time with her family and three grandchildren, collecting antiques and vacationing at the ocean.

LUKE FABIAN

Education Director

Luke has been with Deerassic since March of 2017. Born and raised in Cambridge, Luke loves spending time outdoors with his son Ridge, his wife Alex, and their dog Fletch. Luke is a Muskingum University graduate, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical & Health Education. Luke is also an avid bowhunter. When he’s not teaching kids about the outdoors at the Park, you’ll probably find him in a treestand somewhere.

A.J. BURGA

Maintenance and Grounds Supervisor

A.J. Burga joined our staff in 2016 as our maintenance and grounds supervisor. He is a graduate of Belmont Technical College with an associate’s degree in heating and cooling. He enjoys farming, golf, basketball, and spending time with his family and friends.

SARAH WHEELER

Administrative Assistant

Sarah joined our staff in September 2020. She grew up in Guernsey County, graduated from Buckeye Trail, and resides near Salt Fork State Park with her two children and array of pets. Her hobbies include; outdoor activities and collecting Depression glass.

RUSTY HAYHURST

Assistant Maintenance/Education Team Member

Rusty joined the staff in September of 2021 after working for the maintenance department during the summer months throughout his years in college. He graduated from Wittenburg University in May of 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Educational Studies. In his free time he enjoys hunting, fishing, and anything to do with the outdoors.

STACY GARRETT

Events & Activities Coordinator

Stacy joined our staff as an Ed Team Member in spring of 2020. She was then promoted to Events & Activities Coordinator in October of 2022. Stacy graduated from the University of Akron and worked for the YMCA of USA for 20+ years while raising two wonderful sons with her husband Jason. She loves traveling and seeing new sites with family and friends. You can find her out hiking, fishing, or in her kayak.

ZAVIN ORR

Fundraising Director

Zavin joined our staff in December of 2022. He graduated with a degree in Education from Ohio University. He enjoys spending time with his dog and family. When he is not doing that, he usually is outdoors hunting, fishing, or golfing.

MEGAN BRUMFIELD

Education Assistant

Megan joined our Education Team in May of 2022 after moving to Cambridge. She has been hunting since age 6 and fishing since she was in diapers. She graduated from Hocking College with a degree in Wildlife Resources Management. There, she met her husband, Sterling, who is also an outdoor advocate. She enjoys being outdoors and traveling with family and friends.

ALYSSA BETTS

Events & Activities Assistant

Alyssa joined the staff as an Education Team member in spring of 2022 before becoming the Events & Activities Assistant in 2023. She is currently a college student at Ohio University Eastern where she is majoring in Middle Childhood Language Arts and Mathematics Education. In her spare time, she enjoys showing shorthorn cattle and serving as an advisor for the Bonnie Beefers 4-H Club.

BRYAN STONEY

President

A Graduate of DeVry University in Business Management and Computer Technology. Bryan is the owner of Stoney’s RV, and a native of Guernsey County. Bryan is married, and has 5 kids.

RICK LAMBERT

Vice President

Rick is a Cambridge City Schools teacher and has a Masters in Computer Education from Ohio University. He enjoys hunting, fishing, going to dirt track races and just taking good old fashioned walks.

JOHN DUNNING

Treasurer

John manages Dunning Motors in Cambridge. He is a graduate of Ohio State with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing. He enjoys the outdoors, riding his ATV and spending time with his family and friends.

RALPH RAY

Ralph is the banquet manager at Mr. Lee’s Family Restaurant. He is retired Air Force, enjoys bowling, NASCAR, and outdoor events. Very active in the local community to help make Guernsey County a place you can call home.

JAMIE DAVIS

Graduate from Dover High School. Jamie has been employed at AEP in the line dept. for 35 years. Jamie has 2 daughters and 5 Grandkids. He is a member of Ducks Unlimited, NRA , and Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. Enjoys spending time with family and friends, hunting, fishing, and camping.

RYAN PAVLOV

Ryan is the owner of The Pavlov Group, a real estate development company in downtown Cambridge and the marketing director for MVHC, a federally qualified health center in Southeastern Ohio. Ryan enjoys hiking and camping as well as spending time with family and friends. He also enjoys long romantic walks to the fridge.

STEVE TAYLOR

Steve, a lifelong resident of Guernsey County, has worked for the Cambridge City School District for 33+ years.  He graduated from the University of Akron and received his Masters degree in school administration  from Muskingum College.  He is a member of the NRA and Ducks Unlimited.  He enjoys hunting, fishing, canoeing, and hiking in his spare time.  He also enjoys spending time with his large family.  Steve is married to Sheryl, and he has 5 children.
