Deerassic Classic Giveaway
& Outdoor Expo

If you love hunting, fishing, and the outdoors, this is the event for you!  The “Classic”, held annually on the first Friday & Saturday in August, gives you the chance to surround yourself with everything the outdoors has to offer.  Held on the grounds of Deerassic Park Education Center, in Cambridge, Ohio, this unique event draws approximately 20,000 attendees from all over the country each year.   

Upon entering the event, you will find yourself in an outdoorsman’s paradise.  With over 100 of the outdoor industry’s premier vendors exhibiting at the Classic, almost anything on your hunting & fishing wish list is just a few steps away.  You’ll also discover vendors with amazing products ranging from apparel & footwear to the newest outdoor related technology. If you’re worried that exploring the event is going to work up an appetite, we’ve got you covered with several food vendors on site to satisfy your cravings. Looking for a side by side, golf cart, or even a tractor to help maintain your property or hunting lease?  Several vendors are on site with vehicles and machines for you to see up close.  Don’t have that dream property just yet?  No worries, we even have exhibitors that can help you find it.  If it’s outdoor related, there’s a good chance you’ll find it at the Classic.   

Speaking of chances, if you’re up for taking a chance on a raffle, you need to come to the Classic.  With roughly $2 million in prizes given away each year, the Classic is one of the largest giveaways in the United States.  Hundreds of prizes including, but not limited to, rifles, shotguns, bows, hunting trips, boats, side by sides, cars, trucks, and lots of cold hard cash are won by attendees each year.  Did we mention lots of cold hard cash?  The Classic is home to some of the largest 50/50 drawings ever held.  Last year our 4 separate 50/50 drawings totaled over $700,000.     

Are you a fan of outdoor television?  The Classic gives you the opportunity to meet and talk to your favorite outdoor celebrities.  Each year we bring in some of the industry’s most popular personalities to interact with our attendees and also entertain you from the main stage.  If the exhibitors, outdoor celebrities, and giveaways leave you wanting more, don’t worry, we have it.  We conclude the event each night with a concert featuring some of the most recognizable names in Nashville. 

Once the concert is over each evening you can make your way back to our onsite primitive campground where hundreds of our attendees choose to set up their campers each year.  Whether it be the smell of bacon and eggs cooking each morning or the glow of campfires each night, camping at the Classic is a unique experience in itself.    

While all of the above are great reasons to come to the Classic, there is one final, and even more important reason.  The proceeds raised by the Classic each year go to support the Deerassic Park Education Center and its mission of reconnecting youth and their families with the outdoors.  The field trips, camps, hunts, in-school visits, and events sponsored by Deerassic Park throughout the year are made possible by the funds raised at the Classic.  By attending the Classic, you are not only enjoying one of the best outdoor events in the country, you are also helping introduce the outdoors to a whole new generation.
