Description
Pre-register for the 2024 Deerassic Classic Thursday (August 1) Campground tournament! We will hold 4 different 32 team tournaments throughout the course of the evening (3:00PM, 4:30PM, 6:00PM, and 7:30PM).

All participants must be 18 years of age or older
You will not receive any tickets in the mail for this, please bring your email confirmation with you to the tournament.
2024 DEERASSIC CORNHOLE RULES
These cornhole tournaments are for fun, please be respectful and enjoy yourself.
All teams must be 2 people (no 1 person teams). All teammates must be 18 years or older. Teams can enter all 4 tournaments (3:00pm/4:30pm/6:00pm/7:30pm)
All teams must be ready to play at their designated board on time. If teams are 2 minutes late from their starting time, they will forfeit that round and be eliminated.
This is a single elimination tournament.
When signing up online, the name of the person purchasing is the captain of the team. They can then tell the Deerassic Representative on the day of the tournament who their partner is. Partners MUST be the same throughout each round of the tournament (you can switch partners for different tournaments).
PLAY OF THE GAME
Every match consists of 10 rounds or to a score of 21 points or more, whichever is first. You can go over 21 points. Each round consists of all 4 bags being pitched by each player. If the score is tied at the end of 10 rounds, there will be a sudden death throw by the next 2 players. The first team to score in sudden death will win the match.
DOUBLES CORNHOLE MATCHES
Two teams, consisting of two players, compete against one another until a winning team is determined.
- Each team will stay in their designated lane for the whole game.
- Players at the headboard will alternate pitching bags until each player has pitched all four of his/her bags.
- Players at the footboard will take score and resume pitching back to the other board.
SCORING
The approved method of scoring for the sport of cornhole is “cancellation” scoring. In cancellation scoring, the points of one player cancel out the points of their opponent. Using this method, only one player/team can score in each time they throw.
- Bag On-The-Board (Woody) : Any bag which comes to rest anywhere on top of the board. Each is worth one (1) point.
- Bag In-The-Hole (Cornhole) : Any bag which is thrown through the hole or knocked through the hole by another bag. Each is worth three (3) points.
- Foul Bags – Refers to any bag that has not been determined as Bag On-The-Board or Bag In-The Hole or was designated a foul bag as the result of rules violation
PLAYER PITCHING ROTATION
The player or team who scored in the preceding round has honor pitching first in the next round. If neither player or team scores, the player or team who pitched first in the preceding frame shall retain first pitch in the next frame.
Each tournament will only have 1 winning team and that team will win 50% of the tournament pot.
